Stéphane Lenglin penned the design of the Porsche 963 Le Mans prototype, which is rather unusual, given that this is a performance-oriented racing car and Lenglin is not an aerodynamic engineer but a designer. The three Porsche 963 fielded by Porsche Penske Motorsport at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans will be decked out in a distinctive design. However, the fundamental look of the 963 will stay the same. The colourful designs were unveiled today (Friday, 28 April) as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC race weekend in Belgium.
